Another Refurbished Police Station To Be Reopened In A Matter Of Weeks

Wendell Robinson, the acting Police Commissioner, has offered up appreciation to the government for facilitating much needed repairs to a number of police stations.

On Friday, the Liberta Police Station was reopened, following extensive closure to enable repairs.

Acting Commissioner Robinson says that they now look forward to the reopening of the Nelson’s Dockyard Police Station, scheduled for August.

Prior to Friday’s reopening of one of the district police stations, residents of St. Paul’s indicated that a strain was felt as a result of the delayed availability of police officers.

The recent opening, however, has allayed some fears and by some villagers’ accounts, they will be most comfortable when both police stations are fully operational again.
