Barbuda To Get A Brand New Hospital

The major health concerns that emerged on the sister island following the passage of hurricane Irma have been addressed.
This was the report coming out of a meeting of the committee that has been coordinating the response to the possible health emergencies that could result from the devastation caused by the storm.
The team has been meeting regularly under the chairmanship of Minister of Health Molwyn Joseph.
Wednesday’s meeting came as electricity was restored to the sister island.
Speaking to ABS News at the end of the meeting late Wednesday night, Minister Joseph says major plans are in store for the sister island that includes construction of a brand new 25 bed hospital.
