Cabinet Gets A Firsthand Progress Report On Vendors Mall Overhaul

At least 84 vendors are now some 24 hours away from returning to a newly-renovated vendors mall at heritage Quay.

The facilities will be opened tomorrow after weeks of work to overhaul the infrastructure there.

Prime Minister the Hon. Gaston Browne led cabinet on a tour of the facilities Wednesday to receive a firsthand look at the works.

Tourism Minister the Hon. Charles Fernandez is elated that the location is on the verge of being opened for commerce.

The Minister says this is an opportune time for the facilities to be opened, since this weekend is expected to see a surge in commercial activities to a tax incentive provided by the government.
