AIDS Programme Manager Delcora Williams says Antigua and Barbuda has its sights firmly set on achieving the ambitious global goal of ending AIDS by 2030.

Antigua & Barbuda and other United Nations member states adopted the Political Declaration on HIV & AIDS in 2016.

Among their goals is to ensure a 30 percent community driven HIV related service by 2020.

UNAIDS advocates the involvement of members of society who are most likely to contract HIV in the campaign against the disease.

Williams encourages the support of civil society organizations in the fight to end AIDS.

She has expressed appreciation for longstanding support from corporate entities including Social Bank, State Insurance and PIC Insurance.
