Member states of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) of which Antigua and Barbuda is a part, are being urged to ensure that they are strategic when seeking developmental assistance.

Dr. Stephen Boyce, who is the European Union (EU) Program Manager in the Education Sector based in Barbados, says that while funding is available, member states must ensure that projects fit into the regional developmental agenda.

According to the Head of the Economic Partnership Agreement Implementation Unit, Ambassador, Dr Clarence Henry, Antigua and Barbuda has benefited from Technical and Vocational Education Projects in a number of forms under the 10th European Development Fund (EDF).

Ambassador, Henry says that the twin island is also expected to receive additional support under the 11th EDF.
