The Gaston Browne administration is exploring introducing thermal energy into the country’s renewable energy mix.

Thermal energy is derived from heat.

Prime Minister, the Hon. Gaston Browne has told ABS that this will forms part of efforts to combat the effects of climate change.

The nation’s leader describes the country’s commitment to minimizing the impact of climate change as “rock solid”.

He says government has pledged to invest in excess of $100 million dollars to introduce green funding and technology to the twin island state.

He gives an update of some of the projects that are ongoing, which include the installation of solar panels on schools and government buildings.
