Giant African Snail continues to spread across Antigua and Barbuda

Despite years of fighting the plague, the destructive Giant African Snail continues to spread across Antigua and Barbuda.

The slimy critter is a threat to the local agricultural sector and could potentially lead to a life threatening disease in humans.

Now, Head of the local Plant Protection Unit, Dr. Janil Gore-Francis is reporting the pest has already been spotted in five new locations since the year began.
