Government To Sue Corporate Untity

Government may be pursuing legal action against a local corporate entity that has been defrauding the country of approximately $350 million dollars.

Prime Minister, the Hon. Gaston Browne, made this announcement Tuesday while speaking at the Economic Business Forum and Book Launch hosted by the Antigua and Barbuda Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ltd. and IMF Western Hemisphere Department.

Browne says the entity is responsible for providing energy products to the country.

The nation’s leader also reveals that an investor, which entered into a joint venture with the government at the Valley Church Beach, with a 10 acre property, will also be taken to court.
