LIAT RETURNS

It was a historic day for Regional carrier LIAT.

The Caribbean Airline was back in the sky today after a 7 months absence.

LIAT Flight 401 left Antigua for Dominica this afternoon where the carrier’s staff and those on board received an official welcome from the people of Dominica.

Dominica’s Minister for Tourism, International Transport and Maritime Initiatives the Hon. Denise Charles commits to supporting the Caribbean airline.

LIAT made its return flight to Antigua this evening. For now the airline will operate a limited schedule of flights when it launches its commercial schedule in a matter of weeks. Minister for Tourism the Hon. Charles Fernandez is delighted about LIAT’s return.
