Meeting Of OECS Assembly Postponed; New Date Yet To Be Decided

Meanwhile, a meeting of the OECS Assembly scheduled for today was postponed and a new date is yet to be decided.

Ambassador Colin Murdoch who is the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained the reason during an interview with our news centre.

Ambassador Murdoch pointed to the issues to be discussed the next time it is held.

The Assembly which is held at Antigua’s parliament building, comprises five members of parliament of each independent member state, and three legislators of each non-independent member state.

There is also representation from both the administration and parliamentary opposition.
