No Punitive Action To Be Taken Against Apua General Manager Over Acquisition Of Sembcorp

Cabinet has agreed no punitive action will be taken against the head of the Antigua Public Utilities authority, following an examination of how the entity handled the acquisition of Sempcorp.
Utilities Minister the Hon. Sir Robin Yearwood addressed the issue during this week’s cabinet meeting regarding the actions of Esworth Martin.
Martin had maintained a private entity to manage the operations of the company during the transition period, sparking concern in some quarters.
