Plans To Improve The Social Security Scheme Are About To Be Set In Motion With An Impending Increase In Pensionable Age

The government has unveiled a comprehensive plan to improve the social security scheme which is set to result in an increase in benefits for seniors.

As part of the raft of measures being considered, Cabinet has held talks regarding increasing the pensionable age and continuous payouts.

Details were provided to the media at Thursday’s post cabinet briefing chaired by Information Minister, the Hon. Melford Nicholas and included Director of the Social Security Scheme, David Matthias.
