Public Concern To Police

Members of the St. John’s Royal North and surrounding communities recently got a chance to express a number of their concerns with members of the Royal Police Force of Antigua during a community meeting.

The meeting forms part of police efforts to get the public more involved in crime fighting strategies.

Police Public Relations Officer Sergeant Frankie Thomas says watch groups have expressed unease over the alarming amount of break-ins that have been occurring island wide.

Thomas continues that every effort is being made to ensure that the Langford Police Station is properly outfitted to address all the needs in that area.

It is the hope that dialogue can be continued between lawmen and civilians in an effort to combat crime around the island.
