The Police Training School At Langfords Is Renamed In The Honour Of Former Police Commissioner Wright George

The rank and file of the Police force turned out at the police training school located in Langfords to honour a distinguished gentleman yesterday.
He is former Police Commissioner Wright George.
And for his life work of contributing to the development of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, the training school was renamed in his honour.
The institution is now named the Wright F. George Police Academy.
Several dignitaries, business figures and officials, including Acting Prime Minister Steadroy ‘Cutie’ Benjamin turned out for the historic renaming and unveiling.
The occasion was organized to fall on George’s birthday. He was 85 yesterday(Wednesday).
