10-YEAR-OLD AND FAMILY DONATES TO HOMELESS

A heartwarming story this evening of a 10-year-old girl and her family who are making a difference in the lives of people in need.
Every Sunday the Mark family distributes food to homeless people in St. John’s.
The family says the act of goodwill is the brainchild of 10-year-old Vanique Mark.

We spoke with the family at the Wharf behind West Bus Station this morning.
Dad, Swango Mark says today makes 10 weeks since they shared the first meal.

This morning they distributed sandwiches and drinks to people around the city.
The family thanks several people and corporate citizens for supporting their effort.
