109 NURSES RESIGN FROM SLBMC IN 9 YEARS, EXACERBATING STARK NURSING SHORTAGE

Fresh figures are painting a dire picture of the shortage of nurses affecting Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.

The figures were outlined by the hospital’s medical director, Dr Shivon Belle Jarvis, even as the Government ramps up measures to ensure the training of more nurses locally.

Dr Belle Jarvis was one of the guests on a special edition of ABS’ House Calls Tuesday evening.
