STATE INSURANCE 2019 JR. CALYPSO MONARCH RECEIVES SPONSORSHIP CHEQUE

One Antiguan company continues to invest in the future of the calypso art form.
State Insurance Company has once again come forward to sponsor the Junior Calypso Monarch. A cheque was handed over to the Festivals Commission during a brief ceremony yesterday.

State Insurance has sponsored the Junior Calypso for over ten years.
Festivals Commission Chairman Maurice Merchant commended State Insurance for its commitment.

The additional funds have also enabled the artistes to have a new experience singing with a live band.
The competition slated for July 28 will see twelve competing in the five to 12 years category and eleven in the thirteen to nineteen category.
