AG SAYS POLICE WILL STAMP OUT RISE IN CRIMES INVOLVING YOUNG PEOPLE

The country’s Attorney General and Public Safety Minister is also concerned about the spate of criminal activity among young people.
The Hon. Steadroy Benjamin says strategies to curb the recent trend are in place following a meeting with the top brass of the police force last Monday.

He tells ABS News the police will prevent any further escalation.
The Public Safety Minister also says it’s important the community comes together to tackle the issue.
More focus is being placed on the mobilization of neighborhood watch groups following last week’s meeting.
The AG says parents have a vital role to play.
