20 YEARS SINCE SIR VCB DEATH

June 28th(Friday) marks 20 years since the death of the Father of the Nation.
The Right Honorable Sir Vere Cornwall Bird Senior died in 1999.
Praised as a trade unionist, Antigua’s first Chief Minister, first Premier and first Prime Minister after leading the nation to independence.
