24 YEAR OLD REMANDED OVER GUYANESE WOMAN’S DEATH

Lightfoot resident Victor Ince has been remanded in custody until September 17, in connection with the death of 19 year old Guyanese national, Joyleen Abraham on May 7. He appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel on Thursday. He is being represented by attorney Leon Symister.

Ince had told police Abraham had jumped from a vehicle he was driving on the road leading from New Winthorpes to Jabberwock. She sustained multiple injuries and was later pronounced dead. Ince was later charged in connection with her death, following intensive investigations.

Abraham had arrived in Antigua just days before the incident which claimed her life.
