Police Commissioner Atlee Rodney has been elected to the post of First Vice President of the Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police, ACCP. This happened during the ACCP’s just-concluded Annual General Meeting and Conference held virtually because of the perils of the COVID-19 pandemic. Commissioner Rodney, who had been Second Vice President of the ACCP before this conference, has welcomed the new challenge.
Meanwhile, Attorney General and Public Safety Minister Hon. Steadroy Benjamin, has extended congratulations to Commissioner Rodney on behalf of the Government of Antigua and Barbuda. He has heaped encomiums on the Police Chief for his unstinting service in law enforcement in Antigua and Barbuda and the region.
The ACCP was formally established in 1987 and comprises Commissioners of Police from 25 Caribbean countries.
