PRIME MINISTER GASTON BROWNE TAKES OATH OF OFFICE FOR HISTORIC THIRD STRAIGHT TIME
Prime Minister Gaston Browne has created history, becoming the first head of government in Antigua and Barbuda to be sworn in for three consecutive terms.
He was sworn in at Government House Thursday morning, hours after his Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party secured a narrow victory in Wednesday’s election.
The ABLP received 9 seats, 6 fewer than it had going into this election.
