59-YEAR-OLD ERIC BURTON REMANDED ON MURDER CHARGE

Fifty-nine-year Eric Burton, who is accused of the murder of 22-year-old Jamal Ryner has been been remanded to prison following his first court appearance.

The case has been adjourned to April 4, when the evidence will be examined to determine if it holds enough weight for trial in the High Court.

Attorney Michael Archibald is providing legal representation for the accused.
