7-MONTH OLD DIES HAVING CONTRACTED COVID-19

A 7-month old baby has died having contracted Covid-19.  The information was revealed at Thursday’s Post Cabinet Media Brief by Information Minister the Honourable Melford Nicholas.

Nicholas says Health Minister Honourable Sir Molwyn Joseph broached the subject at Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting.

The death of a toddler at the Sir Lester Bird Mt St John’s Medical Centre, he says, is also under investigation.

Minister for Information Hon Melford Nicholas expressed condolences to the families of both children and he pledged Government’s continued efforts to implement measures to limit the spread of the SARS CoV-2 virus.
