A five-day Tourism Security Workshop gets on the way

In an effort to combat terrorism, violence and other criminal activities that poses threats to the tourism sector in the region, local officials have commenced a five day security specialized training workshop. The training which opens today (Mon) at the Jolly Beach Resort and Spa is being held by the Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with the Organization of American States (OAS). The sessions are taking a train the trainer format and have attracted managers and supervisors from key tourism and security agencies.
