A&B BEGINS TO REAP MEDICAL TOURISM BOOST FROM EYECARE PROGRAMME

A partnership between the Health Ministry and the Trinidad Eye Hospital is providing a major boost in medical tourism to Antigua and Barbuda.

The team from the Trinidad Eye Hospital is in Antigua this week for the latest visit to provide crucial services, including cataracts and retinal surgeries.

Chief Executive Officer of the Trinidad Eye Hospital, Dr Ronnie Bhola, says this programme is already transforming Antigua into an eyecare hub in the sub-region, with individuals traveling to the country to access care.
