A&B LAUNCHES MAJOR COUNTDOWN TO HOSTING OAS GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN JUNE
Foreign Affairs Minister Hon. E.P. Chet Greene says Antigua and Barbuda can look forward with pride to hosting the 55th Organization of American States General Assembly in June.
The twin-island state will be the first in the region to host the conference since the Dominican Republic in 2016, and the first English-speaking Caribbean country to host since Barbados in 2002.
Dignitaries and other delegates, as well as media houses from the OAS’ over 30 member states and 26 observer nations will be in Antigua and Barbuda for the event, slated for June 25 – 27.
