A&B RATIFIES REGIONAL ENVIRONMENT AGREEMENT

Antigua and Barbuda has also ratified a crucial regional agreement on the environment.
It covers access to information, public participation and justice in environmental matters in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Environment Minister Hon. Molwyn Joseph moved the resolution in Parliament’s Lower House last Friday to have it ratified as a treaty.

The Minister says this underscores the importance being placed on environmental issues.
It comes in the context of climate change being regarded as the pre-eminent existential threat of our time.
