A&B REAFFIRMS FOREIGN POLICY STANCE AMID US-VENEZUELA TENSIONS

Antigua and Barbuda is reaffirming its mantra of being a friend to all and an enemy of none, as tensions mount between Venezuela and the United States.

The United States has deployed warships and a nuclear-powered submarine to international waters off Venezuela, as it moves to ratchet up the pressure on drug cartels.

However, this has stoked strong condemnation from Caracas, which sees it as provocation.

The issue was raised at Thursday morning’s post cabinet media briefing.
