ABEC EXPLAINS WHY PASSENGERS ON CHARTER FLIGHT FROM NIGERIA CANNOT VOTE IN JANUARY 18 ELECTIONS

Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission’s public relations officer, Elisa Graham says visitors who arrived on a charter flight from Africa, cannot vote in the upcoming general elections.
Her comments come amidst speculation in some quarters, regarding the 265 tourists who arrived on an Antigua Airways charter from Nigeria Tuesday morning.
Graham says the tourists could not meet the requirements to get on the election register.
