A&B’S ECONOMY EXPECTED TO END 2025 WITH GROWTH OF 4.8%
Prime Minister and Finance Minister Hon. Gaston Browne says the country’s economy is expected to end the current fiscal year with an expansion of 4.8 per cent in real Gross Domestic Product. The Prime Minister told listeners on Pointe FM’s Browne and Browne Show on Saturday that this level of growth is “remarkable,” given the expanded size of the country’s economy. He says the country’s GDP, which measures the total output of goods and services produced in the country, now stands at around US$2.4 billion.
Prime Minister Browne says his administration is continuing to make efforts to improve the standard of living of citizens and residents, reiterating the commitment to pay another wage increase to public servants and to increase the minimum wage in 2026.
He is expected to provide further details during the budget presentation on December 4.
