ABS EXCLUSIVE: AUTOPSY CONDUCTED ON BODY OF CHANTEL CRUMP

An autopsy has been conducted on the body of nine-year-old Chantel Crump, who was abducted and murdered last month. ABS News understands that the examination was carried out this morning by a visiting forensic pathologist. However, the results of the investigation are not yet known, as police will be awaiting an official report from the pathologist. ABS News will provide an update as more information becomes available.

This is the latest development in the murder which has shocked and outraged residents nationwide. Twenty-year-old Angela Mejia has been charged for the child’s murder and is now on remand at the Prison. Police say their intensive investigations into the grisly crime are continuing.
