A&B’S JUSTIN COCHRANE EAGER TO INSPIRE YOUNG FOOTBALLERS

Former National Midfielder Justin Cochrane, the first ‘Benna Brit’ to join the Benna Boys squad, credits his years playing with Antigua and Barbuda as the start of his coaching development.

Since retiring Cochrane has worked his way through various levels of English Premier League Clubs.

Cochrane has most recently been appointed assistant coach of Tottenham Hotspur, a post he held at Brentford for the last three seasons.

He is also serving as an assistant coach with the England national team, under Thomas Tuchel.

Cochrane points to his Antiguan heritage, particularly his family’s ties to Liberta, as a core part of his identity. He has also expressed a strong desire to contribute meaningfully to the development of football in Antigua and Barbuda, by inspiring young players.
