ABS Mourn’s The Loss of Former Director

St. John’s, Antigua – Former Director General of the Antigua and Barbuda Broadcasting Service (ABS) Dave Looby has passed away.  He passed away early Wednesday morning after battling Cancer. After making his start in radio in the early 60s, Looby served ABS in various capacities.

He was a noted News Anchor and Former General Manager. Station Manager Trevor Parker says Antigua and Barbuda has lost a great son of the soil. Parker credits Looby as someone whom he could count on to offer valuable advice during his early years as station manager.
