ABST Reduction Scheduled for April 10-11 2026

Cabinet has confirmed that the previously announced reduction of the Antigua and Barbuda Sales Tax (ABST) to 0% on food items and school supplies will be implemented over April 10–11, 2026, the weekend preceding the reopening of schools following the Easter break. Ministers say this measure is intended to provide direct financial relief to families preparing for the new school term.
