ACADEMIC PRAISES PM BROWNE’S STANCE AMID TENSIONS OVER US MILITARY BUILDUP

There are fresh concerns that the region is in an extremely vulnerable position, amid growing tensions over a United States military build-up in the southern Caribbean.

Former head of the diplomatic academy of the University of the West Indies and professor of international relations at the University of Alberta in Canada, Andy Knight, has spoken exclusively to ABS News as the region remains on tenterhooks.

Professor Knight also comments Prime Minister Gaston Browne for his vocal stance on the need to maintain this region as a zone of peace.
