AG BENJAMIN CALLS FOR REGION TO ADOPT HIGH-TECH APPROACHES IN CRIME FIGHT

Attorney General and Public Safety Minister, Hon. Sir Steadroy Benjamin, is urging regional leaders to incorporate high-tech approaches in tackling the scourge of crime.

Sir Steadroy says the region should consider such tools as facial recognition, as it faces evolving threats.

He was speaking at a regional symposium hosted in Antigua and Barbuda this week on tackling cyber crimes.
