AIRPORT TAXI OPERATORS STEER TOWARD BOOKING APP TO STAY COMPETITIVE

The United Taxi Company is developing a booking app to modernize its services and compete with new transportation options now available to visitors.

The company, which has been in operation for over 60 years, says the app will allow travelers to book taxis more easily, while helping drivers stand out as the authorized operators at the airport.

UTC President Ian Joseph admits the group has been slow to adapt in the past, but welcomes the Government’s support in setting up the new system.
