ANTHONY SMITH BECOMES FIRST INDEPENDENT MP TO SERVE IN THE EXECUTIVE

Member of Parliament for All Saints West, Hon. Anthony Smith Jr has made history by becoming the first independent Member of Parliament to be appointed to serve in the country’s cabinet.

The appointment came 24 hours after the MP resigned from the United Progressive Party to serve as an independent legislator.
