ANTICIPATION BUILDS FOR UWI FIC ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE CONFERENCE

The University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus is preparing to host the second annual Artificial Intelligence Annual Research Conference, scheduled for June 23-24, 2025.

This edition will explore the theme, ‘Bridging digital frontiers: AI for Caribbean sustainability.

It will build on the success of the inaugural conference held last July, and forms part of a wider thrust to position the campus as a leader in AI.

Director of Academic Affairs at UWI FIC, Dr Curtis Charles, provided an update during the Browne and Browne Show on Pointe FM on Saturday.
