Antigua and Barbuda and the Republic of Singapore Discuss TechnicalCooperation for CHOGM 2026
St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda – The Honourable E.P. Chet Greene, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Barbuda Affairs of Antigua and Barbuda, held a bilateral meeting with Mr. Luke Goh, Permanent Secretary for Law and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore, on the margins of the Commonwealth Foreign Ministers Meeting in London.
During the meeting, discussions focused on Antigua and Barbuda’s preparations to host the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in St. John’s from 1st to 4th November 2026 and on opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
Mr. Goh conveyed Singapore’s willingness to lend support to Antigua and Barbuda’s preparations for CHOGM through the provision of technical assistance and training, drawing on Singapore’s experience in governance, public administration, and the organisation of major international events.
