There has been another prestigious travel award for Antigua and Barbuda…
The twin-island state has been named 2021’s Emerging Sustainable Destination of the Year in Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel Award.
It’s a fitting reward for the country’s pioneering efforts on sustainability such as banning single-use plastics and establishing a “Green Corridor” of environmentally friendly businesses.
