ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA ON THE CUSP OF 7-BILLION-DOLLAR ECONOMY
Prime Minister and Finance Minister Hon. Gaston Browne says Antigua and Barbuda’s Gross Domestic Product at market prices is set to climb to $6.9 billion dollars by the end of 2026.
He says this is double what it was when his party assumed the reins of government in 2014.
Prime Minister Browne says this growth in the size of the economy is a key indicator of the success of his administration’s policies to drive investment and aggregate demand.
He was delivering the budget statement in Parliament’s Lower House on Thursday.
