ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA WELCOMES NEW PERUVIAN AMBASSADOR

Antigua and Barbuda and Peru are signalling a push to deepen ties.

The new Peruvian ambassador to Antigua and Barbuda, His Excellency Gustavo Lembcke, presented his credentials Thursday, before holding courtesy calls with Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne and Foreign Affairs Minister Hon. E.P. Chet Greene.

Both countries are bullish on the prospects for closer cooperation in areas including climate change, education, trade, tourism and food security.
