Antigua and Barbuda’s 2025 Second Place CSEC Student Receives Regional TVET Award
Antigua and Barbuda’s Khalique Harris of St. Joseph’s Academy, was recognized as the Most Outstanding CSEC Candidate in the Region for Technical and Vocational Studies at the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) Regional Awards Ceremony, held in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, on December 11, 2025.
Harris distinguished himself after sitting 22 CSEC subjects, earning 17 Grade One passes. This prestigious regional award was conferred based on his exceptional performance in attaining Grade One passes in the following Technical and Vocational subject areas:
- Information Technology
- Food, Nutrition and Health
- Family and Resource Management
- Technical Drawing – Technical
- Industrial Technology – Electrical
- Industrial Technology – Mechanical
- Industrial Technology – Building
The Ministry of Education, Sports and Creative Industries applauds Mr. Harris for his remarkable academic discipline, dedication, and excellence across a wide range of technical and vocational disciplines.
