Antigua & Barbuda Public Library Set To Open In April

Despite a number of setbacks over the years, the long awaited Antigua and Barbuda Public Library is set to officially open it’s doors in April.
That’s according to Minister of Parliament for St.Georges Dr. The honorable Jacqui Quinn Leandro who recently made the announcement at a public rally in the Jennings community.
The education minister told party supporters that the completion of the library has topped the government’s agenda since it took office in 2004.
The facility will feature Lower and Upper Children’s Libraries, Lower and Upper Adult Lending rooms, Newspaper and Periodicals, two lobby areas, a basement, Reference Library, IT Centre, server rooms, lunchrooms and bathrooms and toilets.
