ANTIGUA & BARBUDA RANKS HIGH ON WORLD RULE OF LAW INDEX

Antigua & Barbuda is ranked 2^nd in CARICOM according to the World Justice Project’s 2025 Rule of Law Index.   

The country scored exceptionally high in the categories of Fundamental Rights, Order & Security, Regulatory Enforcement, and Civil Justice.  With an overall score of 0.64 our of a perfect 1.0, Antigua & Barbuda is bested only by Barbados in the rankings and is placed at 38^th overall out of 143 countries assessed. 

The news comes as the World Justice Project warns the global rule of law recession has accelerated.
