ANTIGUANS GRADUATE WITH DISTINCTION FROM WPI
Two Antiguans recently graduated with distinction with engineering degrees.
Tavorn George and Jeremiah Valero completed their programmes at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts in the United States with top honours.
In a statement, the duo says they’re looking forward to contributing to the development of Antigua and Barbuda.
They also say they pride themselves in knowing they graduated from such a prestigious school known for engineering and project based- learning.
George and Valero were recipients of the Robert A. Foisie scholarship which was secured by Prime Minster Gaston Browne for gifted students.
The graduates thank the Prime Minister for the role he played in allowing them to gain higher education.
