APUA Has Been Given Access To Major Financing Through Membership Of The CIP
The cash-strapped Antigua Public Utilities Authority is now a Citizenship By Investment Programme or CIP – approved business.
That’s means that the statutory corporation is now able to access direct funding from investors looking for business opportunities in Antigua and Barbuda.
Chief of Staff Lionel Max Hurst says there is good reason why APUA should be able to access investment directlythrough the CIP.
Currently, anyone investing up to 400-thousand U.S dollars in an existing business…or a new business, is entitled to Antigua and Barbuda citizenship.
Meanwhile, on the issue of water…Hurst says the government will purchase another reverse osmosis plant that will bring total production to the eight million gallons consumed daily.
