APUA TO PROCURE AUTOMATED SYSTEM TO ALLEVIATE WATER WOES

Cabinet has approved the allocation of immediate financing for the procurement of an automation system to help curb potable water supply.

Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) General Manager, John Bradshaw, advised Cabinet this week the Authority is actively implementing other measures to mitigate shortages, including the upgrading of pumps, the installation of booster stations, and improvements to pressure-management systems. These interventions are designed to ensure more consistent distribution and to better support weaker areas of the network.
